Teknikakademin is looking for an instructor in sustainable construction and civil engineering. This role is suitable for those with extensive experience in the construction and civil engineering industry, preferably with a focus on sustainability, who want to educate the engineers of the future.

You will plan, implement, and develop teaching in construction, civil engineering, and sustainable construction. The education combines theory, practical elements, and projects closely related to real industry scenarios. The focus is on providing students with a broad and modern skill set that matches the future needs of the industry.

• Teach construction and civil engineering techniques

• Convey knowledge in sustainable development related to construction and the environment

• Introduce digital construction and digital documentation

• Teach construction, concrete technology, and production

• Instruct in leadership, quality, environment, and work environment (KMA) and contract law

• Guide students during projects and thesis work

• Collaborate with the industry for internship periods

• Ensure quality and further develop course materials

• Extensive experience in construction, civil engineering, or sustainable construction

• Good competence in construction technology, design, or production

• Knowledge of industry standards, methods, and tools

• Experience in digital construction or digital documentation is an advantage

• Relevant technical education and/or professional experience

• Good pedagogical skills

• Experience working with sustainability issues in construction projects

• Experience in project management or work leadership

• Experience as a mentor/instructor

• Experience in quality, environment, and work environment (KMA) work, contract law, or industry-specific documentation
